Outlook for 2017 Whitewater Rafting Season

Hi Friends!

We'd like to wish a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Super Awesome New Year, and all around Beautiful Holiday Season to all our paddlers out there! We hope Santa brings us tons of new snow tonight!

Izzy says hey!

So far so good for the 2017 snowpack! If the snow keeps falling we'll be looking at an above average season for Rafting and other whitewater related activities in Clear Creek County. At the moment we are seeing a 105% percent of normal snowpack. In the past, 80% or higher has given us great water years. Below 80%, we will still be rafting, just maybe not quite as long. Check out the image below, Clear Creek (the closest high quality whitewater to Denver) is on the South Platte drainage.

So, if anyone is planning a trip to Denver, or anywhere else in Colorado for that matter, remember to give us a ring! Our guides are ready to keep you safe on any section at any level!

Sincerely,
Team Downstream
